Does anyone have any advice on a way to help publish your company’s software portfolio to your requesters?

We are in the process of building out a New Software Request form where any requester can go into the form and submit requests for new software. We would like to be able to reference a link to our company’s software portfolio so they can see if the software already exists, but we don’t have an automated way to maintain/build that. 

Currently, we are using a Custom Object that is manually maintained and will be in our New Software Request Form to allow people to browse and search for the software, but we know it will not be 100% updated and accurate.
