Hi,

we are planning to start importing all assets and update the information at regular interval from Intune and from another asset discovery system (via the API). I’m also looking into the possibility to import software assets.

When an asset is removed or marked as deprecated in the other systems, what is the recommended way to handle the asset in Freshservice? Should it be deleted and in that case, will any connection from tickets and requests still be valid (as I understand it, a deleted asset is only moved to the thrash bin, not really deleted from the system) or should some state just be updated.
