When a contact/customer creates a ticket, can we disable the browser version and OS information that is captured? Our customers deal with sensitive data and this information does not need to be captured or stored anywhere.
When a contact/customer creates a ticket, can we disable the browser version and OS information that is captured? Our customers deal with sensitive data and this information does not need to be captured or stored anywhere.
That said, the same is also available only on tickets from specific sources, such as the help widget, feedback widget etc and not on email tickets.
For now, we do not have an option with us to not capture this information, keeping in mind the privacy of the end-user. Let me have this passed along to our product security team and we’ll keep you updated on this same thread as soon as we have more information on this.
