Hi,
I just switched to the basic plan (I didn’t know I couldn’t go back to the free trial) and now I am stuck with “Example” for Product in every customer ticket. I don’t even have products, it’s a serviced based Help Desk.
How can I get it removed? I did not add the field, it was just there to start with
Hey Nemo,
Give this a try. Go to Admin → Ticket Fields. Search for Product in the list. Expand that list and check your BHEAVIOR FOR AGENTS. These should be unchecked, or else it will require you to fill that field on tickets in order to close or submit them.
If you do not want to see the field at all I have used an app to assist me with hiding these fields in the properties because those teams did not have to interact with them. It was called Hide Fields.
Hopefully these will be available to you with your version.

One last thing. You should be able to look at and edit your products under Admin → Multiple Products. Here you should see the reference to Example. You may be able to edit this from here.
Hi Soverton,
I am also trying to remove the silly “example” field but none of your suggestions works for me.
- When I try to edit product in Ticket Fields I get error “The multi_product feature(s) is/are not supported in your plan. Please upgrade your account to use it.”
- When I go to Marketplace to find the “Hide fields” app - I get “Not found page”
- There is no “Admin - Multiple Products” section in the Free version either

Sorry, For some reason they do not let you edit or update posts here. I am sorry that this does not work for the free version.
