I have just started to use this and find it very basic in its functionality eg there is no format paste. Also just copying a document from Word looses a lot of the formatting and section numbering etc. which means a lot of work to add documents to the solutions portal.
Is there any way a decent third party text editor can be used or as an alternative convert docs from Word correctly without requiring a lot of rework?

Hi @Palloyd,
Greetings from Freshworks Community!
When pasting content from anywhere, certain formatting would still be retained which are supported by the text editor. You would not be able to paste extensively formatted texts however you would still be able to format it with the options available in the reply editor as shown here:
If you’re referring to the solution article contents, you can use the code view option to make certain customisations:
However, we completely hear your requirement. You can post it in our Ideas section from where it would be taken by our product team for future development.
Cheers!

Yes some basic formatting is there but when copy a Word document a lot of even basic formating is lost eg numbering which means a high overhead in terms of work to migrate existing docs into your solutions portal.
Completely agree with this. The code view is quite unintelligble as well - copy and pasting, and even basic functionality with using the ordered lists doesn’t work.
To improve your Solutions Text Editor, consider optimizing its performance for better usability and faster response times. If you’re looking for an efficient tool that works well on Yuzu emulator for low-end PCs, ensure that it offers smooth navigation, easy editing features, and minimal system resource usage. This will enhance user experience on less powerful systems.

Yes, the built-in editor is quite limited. A quick solution is to use an online Word-to-HTML converter before pasting your document, as it helps keep most of the formatting intact. Otherwise, simplifying the formatting in Word before copying can also save time. Hopefully, they’ll upgrade the editor to something better in the future!
Is there a way to use a third-party text editor with Sansar24 top, or convert Word documents correctly without losing formatting, numbering, and requiring extensive rework when adding them to the solutions portal?
