Instead of Show it will Hide
Instead of Enable it will Disable
Instead of Mandate it will Non-Mandate(?)
Instead of Set Options it will Remove Options
I have always read “Reverses the actions specified” as Undo, not Do The Opposite action.
I’ve always been very confused as to why it would undo something, instead of just not do it if the condition is met and now the documentation makes more sense:
So if there are no conditions then “Reverse if false” does nothing since it’s always true.
Other things I did not know:
1. If only “Displayed to requester” is checked in Field Manager. The field will not be visible to the requester.
2. Although now documented, if “Requester Can Edit” is not checked, Business Rules For Forms are ignored for that field.
3. Consequently a field must be visible to the requester in general for a field to be used as a condition in a Business Rule. So no using hidden fields to try and control form behavior.
Also why is it Mandate/Non-Mandate and not Require/Not Require
