Discovering Cisco IP Phones

Please correct me if I am wrong but is there any way to discover Cisco IP Phones to record them as an asset? I am seeing that the probe does not list them as discoverable. Has anyone had any luck with any other work around or any way to get them into inventory rather than a manual import?
