So just a question for those utilizing the Discovery Probe/Discovery Agent.
In our environment we use the Probe and scan the domain. Would there be any problems caused by using the Probe but also installing the Agent on devices as they are imaged?

Probe and agent discovered assets can indeed co-exists.
If the probe have already discovered it, and the agent is installed later, then it will update the already existing asset.
Reading again your inquiry, just to double check, you’re using “imaged”. Are you referring to device deployment with images? If on Windows, please don’t forget to run sysprep. If the image (while being created) has Internet Access, the agent will be reported. Sysprep should ensure uniqueness; haven’t tried it myself though.
