Question

How to add Offboarding Placeholders to the Parent Ticket?

Forum|alt.badge.img

We’re setting up Offboarding in FreshService.

There are a number of fields that we’ve added for HR to use when they submit the request.  But, when we test, they aren’t added to the parent ticket.  I can’t find them in Workflow Automation to add them to the parent request and to use in additional automations?  Additionally, where can we find the list of placeholders we’ve created overall?

Did this topic help you find an answer to your question?

Hi.

That sounds a little bit odd.

I’d suggest you to submit a support ticket instead. FreshService Support Engineers should be able to quickly address your concern in your instance, even if a remote session is required to better check your issue and resolve it.

To add Offboarding placeholders to the parent ticket in FreshService, you need to ensure that the custom fields created for HR are properly configured in the ticket form and that the placeholder variables are linked correctly in the automation workflows. You can find a list of all your placeholders in the "Placeholders" section under "Admin" settings. If you still can't find them, double-check your workflow conditions and make sure the placeholders are available for use.

By the way, if you're working through these settings and need a break, Postmates Torrance Offers could be a good way to grab some quick food!
