Some templates are used periodically so they do not need to be visible until certain times of the year. Is there a way we can archive ones we don’t currently need? We don’t want to have to delete them only to have to recreate them again later.

I understand your request to archive the ticket template, but it is currently not possible to do so. As a workaround, you can create a dummy group and assign those ticket templates to it, allowing them to remain on the help desk without being visible to all users.

Yes, many platforms allow you to archive form templates for future use. You can either save them as drafts or export them to a file format (such as XML or JSON) for storage. Some tools also provide an 'Archive' or 'Save as Template' option, which allows you to easily access and reuse them later. It’s a great way to keep your templates organized and ready for when you need them again!
