Hey, is the auto assignment something similar just like Territory mapping/ region mapping ? So basically would it help if a sales lead would want to assign certain regions under a particular sales rep’s account ? Also does a sales cadence feature come under this solution ? Please do guide on this. Cheers !

Hi Rituparna,

Yes Auto-assignment is similar to territory mapping. However, it is different in the way it works. You do not assign a region to a sales rep. With auto-assignment, you can assign prospects belonging to a region/geography to a particular territory or a user.

For example, if you want to assign all incoming prospects belonging to US East, to a specific team/user, you can start by setting up a territory ’US East’. Add users to the territory.

Next, set up auto-assignment rules to assign all prospects with city, state belonging to the territory.

This will automatically assign prospects from the region to users belonging to this territory in a round-robin fashion.

Also, Freshsales offer Sales Sequences to help sales agents automate their outreach. Please take a look at it hereVideo
