How to determine which Portal Version?

This is probably a dumb question, but I am seeing several articles that differentiate between Portal Versions.  We are new to Freshservice, so I’m assuming we have Portal v2, but how do we check which version we’re using?

Hi.

You would notice it mainly on the GUI itself.

V1 has a plain view, less CSS, more squared tight design.

V2 has more modern icons and look.

If you're FS instance was recently acquired,  you're probably on V2.

Hope this clarifies.

Regards,

Ok, I’ll assume we have the new version, then.  Thanks!

Hello! It's not a dumb question at all! To check which version of the Freshservice portal you're using, you can navigate to your portal and look for a version number in the footer or on the login page. If you're not sure what Version you have, you can also try contacting Freshservice support for assistance. They should be able to provide you with more information and help you determine which version you're using. Hope this helps!
