We would like to import Purchase Orders from our old system. Is this possible?

Hello @michaelmartel, you can migrate data from one system to freshservice, it just depends on how you want to do it. There are a few applications in the marketplace that could help with this, and you an always reach out to Freshservice Support to help map the fields for a data import. Mapping the fields from the purchase orders to a Service Request in freshservice may be your best bet.

Take care!

Hi,

Depending on your source help desk, importing purchase orders requires a custom migration. Your best option is to map purchase orders as service requests.

Among all available apps on Freshworks, Help Desk Migration is one of the few apps that offers custom mapping. However, you need to consider a few things before data import:

  1. If you want to import all data from your old system

  2. If you require other custom work

  3. If you have already set up and used Freshservice (* that would require additional steps before migration as turning off notifications, Priority Matrix, workflows, automations, etc.)

For more information on customization options, read on here.
