How to create a customer using the API

I can retrieve information with the API, but everytime I try to create a company I get: Name can't be blank. 


I've used the example from freshdesk.com/api and tried both with XML as JSON (my preference). 


is there anyone who gets this working?

    Sorry, classical mistake. Forgot to set the Content-Type on the POST
