Hi,

I try to connect our GSuite Gmail account with a custom domain. Everytime when I filled out the login credentials, the system said the credentials or port are wrong. After that I double checked the user and password and set it up in Thunderbird without any problem.

I think the problem is the “less secure app” option from Google. Unfortunately, with GSuite you can’t enable it, you need an app key (like trengo it has: https://help.trengo.com/en/articles/71262-connecting-your-gsuite-domain-to-trengo).

Doesn’t support Freshdesk Gsuite accounts? Just forwarding emails isn’t an option for us, because we’ definitly want to have our email address as sender.

Best,

Patrick
