Question

Integrating Out of Office in Freshdesk with a calendar such as outlook

Has anyone come across a way of having Out of Office in Freshdesk set by Out of Office in Outlook?

I am always in favour of only having to enter something like that into one system, rather than two, or more!

Hi Mark,

Greetings from the Freshworks community!

We understand that you would like to sync the out-of-office event between your Freshdesk account and Outlook. Unfortunately, this is not possible in Freshdesk at the moment. We do have a native feature within Freshdesk to schedule out-of-office for the agents. Solution article for your reference - scheduling-out-of-office-for-agents

In addition to this, we also have a marketplace application - https://www.freshworks.com/apps/freshdesk/out_of_office/ - This app can be used by administrators when agents are out of office to organize their tickets.

That said, since this is a valid ask, we shall move this topic to the ideas section so that our product team has direct visibility.

Cheers,

Aishvarya.

Thanks. Can you give me a link to where this is in the Ideas section?

Hi Mark,

At the moment, we could not see any Freshdesk users requesting this feature. However, you can submit your enhancement request in our ideas section so that our product team has direct visibility. - https://community.freshworks.com/ideas

Cheers,

Aishvarya

Thanks, so when you wrote  “we shall move this topic to the ideas section” you didn’t mean you were moving it, but that you want me to move it?
