how to import my domain (Companie) mail id into freshdesk as contact

Hello @Jagadeesh_kanumuri, goo day! If you already have an existing database of contact information, you could import the same onto your Freshdesk Account, from under Customers-->Import.

Contact import

You would have to upload a .csv file containing the contact information and map the columns to contact fields on your account.

You can find more details on the CSV file format and other steps here. Once you upload the contacts, and the upload is complete, you’ll also recieve a mail with the status of the import.

If you have further queries, kindly write to support@freshdesk.com or post them here and we’d love to help. Thanks.

Hi there,

If importing CSV files with contacts doesn't work, you can try out a third-party app. For example, you can request a Custom Data Migration to transfer your domain (Company) mail id as a contact. Or you can:

  • Add tags to migrated tickets

  • Skip attachments

  • Migrate call recordings

  • Migrate content translations

  • One time Demo with custom data

Plus, when you transfer all help desk and knowledge base records together, you maintain data relations. You can easily find any needed information.

For more details, visit this page.

Best regards,

Tetiana
