Hi Everyone & Happy New Year.

Is there anyway of creating a selection of multi-select drop downs.

For example I would like to create a request where the user can select the location, device or devices and then a selection of probes with their asset number. This is to prevent typo’s etc and make the end users life easier

Hello @SteveF1258, your thread landed in the “Using Freshservice” area, but I see you tagged it “Freshdesk”, so I am not sure what product you are using. For the freshservice Service Catalog you cannot have a “Data Sourced” dropdown field type and then use dynamic fields. To use dynamic fields you have to manually provide the choices of your dropdown.

However you can create multiple “Multi-select” drop down fields and choose a data source for those fields. They just will be independent of one another. For data that is not native to freshservice (ex. users, locations, assets) you can create a custom object for that data and then access that custom object in a Multi-select data sourced drop down field.
