Using Freshdesk

I am trying to create a C# function which will allow a user to reply to a ticket but i gt a 401 Unauthorised error. Hi,SSO authentication keep failing after applying change in SSO.Recently I received email about the change about SSO. And I have applied but still keep failing. under reports  >  time sheet When i try to filter for 30 days under a client the reports loader just hangs.. " Generating Report..." I'm doing this in the latest version of chrome 

we have a few groups set up on our account and agents are assigned in admin to only view their groups but are able to see all group tickets and activities

I'm trying to convert our 1.0 code over to 2.0 and the JSON data structures seemed to have changed and when I went to the samples I found that the number of 2.0 samples are very slim and not very helpful.  They are basically just an incomplete codification of some of the curl requests in the API documentation and I've not found any PHP one that really shows any data handling.The initial API samples seemed to have a little more meat to them them where the 2.0 ones are barely squeaking by and require some additional parameters to even make them work (I had to disable some SSL verification through curl options to make the PHP ones work.)It would be nice if many of the samples were expanded to do more than just mimic the get commands and went a step farther and stepped through some of the returned arrays demonstrating h

We have a private customer support portal, available only to "Verified" customers.To make that work, Freshdesk recommended that we could simply turn off the Email Notification - User Activation Email and verify customers manually. This does prevent a person who's emailed in an issue from automatically getting an activation email. When a user visits the portal url they are asked to log in. As they've not been verified, they cannot. So far, so good.But unfortunately, if they click on the "forgot your password?" link, they are prompted to enter their email address and are sent a link to set a new password. Once they do this they are verified.Major fail.For this mechanism to work:The forgot password process should check first to see if the user is verified. If they are not verified:- If the User Activation Email is enabled: it should be resent with a new timed link.

 We have not been getting notifications, and replies are not going out to our customers. Is there something going on with the email system on FreshDesk?

It seems to work ok with a test setup on sales.my_other_domain.com, but that doesn't help us. Can someone take a look at the app and see if it will work as we need it to ?Olly

Hi everyone. The forums here are quite inactive but I hope this does get through to some.Over the past few months the interactions I've had with FD support have not been satisfactory. Regardless of the ticket type (feature request, bug reports, even their own report provides wrong data!) the response time can go up to several weeks. They might promise to follow up, but nothing happens unless you message them on at least a weekly basis.As a paying customer (we have around 50 full time agents), this kind of service is not acceptable. It's somewhat ironic that their product is used for the purpose of improving customer service.Just wanted to know if anyone else has been experiencing the same.

My fields are required, but even when a customer completes that field, they cannot continue. It's become frustrating. I even made the field not required, but I am still experiencing this issue. There is a red box around "Student Name." I cannot delete the field either because there is no option to delete the pre-chat form field. Please advise.

I wanted to change the type style of our outgoing correspondence. However the email which arrives, does not reflect this type style. Hello, I'm trying Simple SSO Security and I found a security Issue.Indeed, the Phone & Company could be set in the SSO Url but it's not include in the HASH. So If I intercept the http request, I can change my phone and company.The phone is not really important for me, but I would like to separate solutions, articles & ticket between company. With this, I can't be sure that a customer will not try to access ticket or article from other company.

When I try to login with my e-mail and click "Forgot Password" the system sends me a link. The link does not work. I click on the link in my e-mail notification and it does nothing.

 Hi - I have not completely read into the API yet, as I'm not even a subscriber of Freshdesk yet - just at rial account.  One of the things that we'd like to be able to do is create a ticket list that is "live" (i.e. not an export) where we can see the tickets listed in a table with sortable columns.  Specifically, we'd like to be able sort by and/or group by company, which the current ticket listing doesn't allow for.I see that we are able to pull a list of tickets but that list comes over with the same info in it that we get via the Freshdesk interface.I also see that we can pull a list of customers and of companies, independent of the ticket list.What I would like to do is merge the calls to these various lists into a single output which can then be displayed using our own website code.  I used a 3rd party tool to pull data from Freshdesk and see that it is possible to combine these (klipfolio), but i

I noticed another post about the ticket time being wrong 9 months ago. Was this fixed, I have my time zone set to HST but the time on the ticket shows EST.Ticket time is one of the most critical features we need so this issue either has to be resolved or I have to use something else.
