Azure AD field, freshservice user fields

can I please get advice on how to amend the mappings from Azure AD to Freshservice?Currently Department field in Azure AD maps to Department in Freshservice.I would like to change that as follows:Azure AD field “company” to map to Department in freshservice.I can’t figure out where to do that - I think in the freshservice Azure Enterprise App?

Loving the change in ticket view but Display Department Properties has dropped to the bottom

Hi @rashmi.nag -- Like the title says, I am loving the change in ticket view - righthand sidebar (with its own scroll bar) stays locked while conversations scroll by and I don’t lose sight of the ticket properties.My 1 and only concern right OOB is that my favourite marketplace app Display Department Properties has dropped right down to the bottom of that righthand sidebar.Is there a way to get it back to the top? Freshservice (Internal) to Freshservice (Partner) Integration

The company I work for uses Freshservice, one of our service providers has also recently moved to Freshservice. Are there integrations of recommended approaches to integrating the two instances?We want to be able to transfer (some) tickets from our platform to the providers. If transfers are not possible, any recommend approaches in Sync’ing tickets between the two platforms?

Node.js Deployment steps request

Hi Team,We have been working on integrating freshservice and JIRA tools. Everything is working well but the attachments from freshservice are not uploading to JIRA. So we have implemented a node.js application in our virtual machine server which will help us in moving the files from freshservice to the virtual machine and from that machine we are trying to move the files to the JIRA. The application is ready but we got stuck at deploying the Node.js application in our companies virtual machine server.So we are requesting you to share us the steps involved in deploying the Node.js application in a VM server.Kindly let us know if you have any queries. Jira Orchestration in Freshservice

Does anyone have the Jira Orchestration working? I am trying to open an Issue in Jira when the category of new ticket matches a specific category. No matter what I enter in the App Action dialog I keep getting error 400. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Azure/intune groups not removed during offboarding workflow.

We’ve got an offboarding workflow with the Azure AD and Gsuite Orch apps. The workflow among other things is supposed to remove the user from groups in Azure, but it doesn’twork. When onboarding a user the user is added to the groups, but not removed during offboarding. Is there different permissions needed in Azure for adding users to groups and removing them?? What we use is the App Action: “Get Group Membership Of User By Username” followed by “Remove User from Groups by User ID”.

Jira integration

I am trying to get our on-premise Jira connected to Freshservice. The instruction guide HERE says that you should use ngrok to publish your jira externally. There are some security implications of doing this though and we need to be able to only allow traffic into our firewalls from the Freshservice addresses.Support have told me that it is not possible to limit the traffic. However I did find this article HERE that detailed IP addresses to restrict but the guide guide is for Freshdesk and not Freshservice.Does anyone either know what IP addresses Freshservice requests come from (Europe region) or can help me isolate the Jira traffic so that only web requests from Freshservice are allowed to communicate with our internal Jira instance.Thanks in advance.

Can FreshServce and Snow work together?

We use Snow Software to manage software and hardware assets for a client it would be very helpful if we could get the two apps to talk to each other?I have seen third party applications out there, but at $500 a month, that’s not really going to work. In light of all the Orchestration Apps that have just appeared, I am wondering if Snow could be fixed to work with FreshService too?

SSO Redirection in Mobile App

We've configured SAML SSO in our service desk and require that requesters be logged into the portal to create requests. When browsing via the web, this works correctly and users are redirected to our SSO provider to authenticate. On both the iOS and Android apps do not redirect. Additionally, they do not accept proper credentials, so I am unable to login. Users who exist in the system (manually added) that are not a part of our SSO implementation are allowed to sign in.

Admin Api key

Hi Freshservice.If you are using the API in a custom app and getting the API key from a configuration/setting. (The settings/configuration is set when you install the app.)Is it possible to get it from the user object instead?Ex:client.data.get("loggedInUser")Lets say you use the custom app from another agent which should not have access to the Admin API key.Is it possible to retrieve the API key based on the user that is logged in, so Admin Api key is not exposed to lower levels of user roles.Users without the admin role can't access custom apps which means they can't configure their own API key in the app either.Is there a solution to this?Best regardsJonathan.

How To - Single Sign-On with G-Suite (Google Apps)

Google provided some information regarding getting Freshservice to use SSO against G Suite. When creating the Freshservice Custom App in the Google Admin Console, follow these steps: GOOGLE ADMIN CONSOLE 1. Click on Apps, create a Custom App 2. Copy the SSO URL (You will need to put this in Freshservice later) 3. Download the Certificate 4. Give the app a name /description/logo 5. Customize the app with these settings ACS URL - https://yourdomain.freshservice.com/login/saml Entity ID - https://yourdomain.freshservice.com Start URL - Leave empty Signed Response - Leave Unchecked Leave all other settings alone. 6. Turn on the App for everyone FRESHSERVICE ADMIN CONSOLE 1. Go to Helpdesk Security 2. Enable Single Sign-On 3. Paste the SSO URL from above (Google Admin Step 2) 4. Leave logout URL empty 5.
