I’m playing with configuring OKTA for authentication for contacts who are onboarded. The OKTA integration works great, and a new contact added to OKTA can authenticate into Freshworks but if they do not exist as a user then a new user is created that isn’t mapped to a company. Since there’s no mechanism for getting alerted (that I can see) when a new user appears on our contacts list I was wondering if there were any hooks related to the group they’re associated in in Okta that can map new contacts automatically to a Company so that this doesn’t have to be done manually once the user exists in Freshworks. Hello,I am using both Jira & Freshdesk and I am having this issue: When I have a ticket in Freshdesk and I want this ticket to be created in Jira via the Freshdesk page and the ticket is successfully created the ticket's description also involves "Freshdesk Ticket #999" and then the ticket's description. Is there any way that this text is not going to be automatically created every time? I know that I can manually delete but I am creating and inspecting lots of tickets in daily basis and I am trying to find a way to avoid this manual task.

Hello and good day. Is there a way to see the activity status of the agents? maybe on the dashboard? Important would be, active in the system or inactive since about 30 minutes. regardless of whether the agent logs off or logs on in the system. Does anyone have an idea how to do this? When I receive an email ticket and reply directly from Freshdesk, that reply is somehow creating a new ticket in FreshDesk. Any client responses also create new tickets, and do not attach to the original ticket. Not sure what is going on, but cannot figure out how to fix it. Please help!! ~ Lauren

Freshworks outlines path to better CX

When I view the solution articles in Agent Mode it looks fine, but the formatting in Customer Portal is much skinnier (there is too much white space on either side of the article - see attached). Any tables I include in the article don’t fit properly. Is there any way to format solution articles so they use more of the available space on the screen? Do I need to be on a specific paid tier or use a custom theme?

We wanted to change our requester email notification. We copied in a format from an email template which was correctly displayed, We then saved the template. Since then there is only a white page and we can not access edit mode at all. We have tried to deactivate and re-activate the emails but this also did not help. URGENT HELP would be appreciated, as our customers are not receiving any acknowledgment of their support ticket requests

Hi, I try to connect our GSuite Gmail account with a custom domain. Everytime when I filled out the login credentials, the system said the credentials or port are wrong. After that I double checked the user and password and set it up in Thunderbird without any problem. I think the problem is the “less secure app” option from Google. Unfortunately, with GSuite you can’t enable it, you need an app key (like trengo it has: https://help.trengo.com/en/articles/71262-connecting-your-gsuite-domain-to-trengo). Doesn’t support Freshdesk Gsuite accounts? Just forwarding emails isn’t an option for us, because we’ definitly want to have our email address as sender. Best, Patrick

I’m trying to integrate with MS Teams but I continue to get this message in my profile: User is not yet connected from the Microsoft teams end. Say Hi! to the freshdesk bot from teams. I have said ‘Hi!’ to the fresh desk bot from teams. I tried the ‘re-authorize’ button a few times. I’ve tried removing and adding the fresh desk app from teams. I have tried removing and adding the teams app from fresh desk. No matter what I do, I continue to get that message. Any ideas?

Hello community, We are looking for to set one team to prospecting and then another to negociate and close deals. The idea is to have to specialized teams, so in this case team A will be working with the prospect until it got qualified. Then another team will continue the process and will close the deal. Have someone set something like this in freshsales? We have not solve yet how to autoassign to team B, and where teams should be performing their tasks, but we have thought in a couple of alternatives: Team A will be working in Freshsales leads module until conversion and then the deal will be in hands of the team B. In that case how can we autoassign the deal to team B? Team A will be working in Freshsales leads module, then convert into a certain pipeline and then from certain stage team B start working. Does anyone know if there is a way to make it so the supervisors of my contacts can see their supervisee’s tickets? We don’t really want/need these supervisors to have any agent access, they just want to be able to have access to verify that their supervisees are submitting tickets. Thoughts? Feelings? Impressions?

When raising a service request, In the Automator Action bit we can send an email (Send Email to). I need to send an informational email to specific contacts (not agents) containing the details of the Service Request . I would like to include the details from the Service Request in to the email body that is being sent out via automator. I can add ticket information in the Condition bit of Automator, but how can I add it to an action?

Is there any option to change how attachments in replies are added; they’re currently hyperlinks and we would like them to be attachments. We’ve had a few instances where we send an attachment in a reply and the customer cant access it due to a firewall on their end that prohibits the opening of hyperlinks from emails. All attachments on freshdesks (that I can see) add to the bottom of the email responses as hyperlinks. Is there any setting I’ve missed that could allow normal attachments and not have it go through a link? Any help on a change to settings or a link to information on it as I can’t find any other issues the same or information on it.

Hi! We have just started a FreshDesk trial and I was wondering what’s the procedure with our data after the trial period, when we decide on a particular plan? Does it make sense to create teams, knowledge base topics etc. already during the trial period, because that data survives the transition from trial to a final plan? Or is this trial data wiped out along with this auto-generated sample data available in trial environment and the only way is to export all data at the end of the trial period and re-import into new plan? While testing the functionality documented here: Is there way to add tickets automatically to the solutions or knowledge base? Any email sent to kbase@<yourcompanyname>.freshdesk.com from your agent email address would be created as a draft solution article inside your Freshdesk Account. You can choose to have this email address added as a bcc email if you'd like to have all tickets automatically added to the knowledge base or you can also manually forward the tickets to this email address, which would save them as solution article drafts. I found that tickets do correctly end up as drafts in the Solutions section --the Knowledge Base-- but there’s several issues which happen once you decide to edit them: Upon entering the edit view, the app won’t ever react to actions (publish, cancel, not even menu navigation).
