 Hello, I am trying to use Google Drive orch, but when testing, for example, to see the permissions of a file, the response is always "Illegal base64 character 5c" Does it work well for anyone?

Hello,  Under Field Manager → Type (Major incident), I added two ‘Dropdown’ fields Now, I am looking to pull up these fields in Analytics → a report but they won’t appear… Is there a way to see this or is this limitation in FS?   

Hello, I have a ticket open with support, but not getting any help/response. Perhaps other customers have experience with this. I am brand new to FS, working on developing automations for my client. I’ve worked with PoSh for many years and written a number of fairly complex Azure Automation runbooks. The orchestrator node is running Server 2022 Datacenter. There are two main issues:Execute command will intermittently not return results, even when running something simple like Get-Service local to the orch server. Sometimes it works. The last time I ran Get-Service , it returned a 400 (permissions), which is nonsense. Ultimately we want this to write ticket fields to a .csv on a remote server for separate processing. In testing I can’t get it to write to file locally, much less to a remote server.I haveRead all the documentation I can find, including the examples Experimented with single

So I’m trying to build an automation that will send me back the reply ( conversation ) id when a new reply has been added to a ticket The problem is I only have access to `{{ ticket.latest_public_comment }}` which is not really enough and I did read https://support.freshdesk.com/en/support/solutions/articles/87018 but I don’t get what’s different between an email notification and an on reply created webhook both should have access to the reply that triggered said event ?I have tried `{{comment.id}}` already and it doesn’t seem to work. 

Can you assign a back-up agent for a particular ticket, when another agent is out of the office, and without using the Round Robin feature?

In our Freshdesk page, we have a check box field. From the check box field, it is expected that user can send a Freshdesk ticket to Zapier automation. However, this check box is not working.According to Zapier support team, they already contacted Freshdesk support team 3 weeks ago but it has not been solved and I was recommended to contact Freshdesk support team.I appreciate if anybody could support with this issue.

Hi Community,Wondering if anyone can help.I am trying to create a FreshService ticket in PowerAutomate when someone fills out an MS Form. However, the FreshService connector requires the Requester's ID, which I thought would be straightforward. I added the dynamic content email address from the MS Form response, but it fails asking for a number. I need the Create Ticket to come from the user how completed the MS Form does anyone have any thoughts why this is not working or how I could achieve this? Many thanks 

Been working on a ticket automation that ties into power automate, I’ve had about 90% complete for a few weeks with this one part failing for me.  I have the ticket Automator built out shown in the screenshot, where it’s failing is sending out the approval, I don’t want to send it to the department head or reporting manager. I’m trying to have it send to one of our ticket groups, which is our security team. Tried setting it to be hardcoded to my email for testing and never get the approval, put our teams group and never saw that receive an approval email. Would love a simple way to finish this automation so aside from just assigning it to the security team, they are the ones to approve it. Automation and email

I want to create a Workflow that pull a list of assets with the status ‘pending return’ and the email the listed ‘used by’ on the asset. the problem I’m running into is that ‘asset status’ is not something that can be filter by using a condition, but it can be filtered using the API and Web request. so I know have a string array with all the asset ID, I just don’t know how to use it since the all the action seem to require a string, and will not take a string array

I want some things that I can't quite get done. Preferably just with Automations. But I understand that I need Webhook? But I don't understand why and how that works. What do I want:1. If subject starts with X then automatically adjust subject.2. If subject contains X in subject, then reply with email with attachment Y in the reply.3. If email has been sent to X, reply with email address Y.Is this possible with automations, and without Webhook? And if not, how exactly should I use Webhook? Can that be done without a developer?I don't use external tools now. We are a small company. And we would like to set up Freshdesk properly.

The built-in "Automatically assign ticket to first responder" automation is sometimes not executing. I can see from the ticket’s history/activity that it did execute for one coworker agent and myself, but not for another 2 coworker agents. The difference is that the first coworker and I are part of the same Group, which is the default group that all incoming tickets go through. The other 2 coworkers are not part of this Group, but were the first, and only, agents to respond to the tickets.Do ticket automations only run within a given Group? If so, how is this configured?

Hi all, I thought this would be really straight forward… but I want to add To-Do list items to tickets via automation.For example “If an Agent tags a ticket as Offboarding, add these To-Do list items1) Disable Accounts2) Retrieve Computer3) Send Supervisor the Offboarding checklist” Am I unable to do that? I aim to achieve the following:Auto Assign Limitation: When an agent enables auto assign, they should not have more than 3 tickets assigned to them simultaneously. Assignable Statuses: Agents should only be assigned tickets if the ticket is in one of the following statuses: Open, Customer Responded, or Updated. Unassignment on Other Statuses: If a ticket moves to any status other than Open, Customer Responded, or Updated (such as Pending, Awaiting on Customer, Awaiting on Team), the agent should be automatically unassigned from that ticket. Additionally, I intend for tickets in the statuses Resolved and Closed to remain assigned to the agent, to ensure they are associated with customer satisfaction surveys.Please suggest t

Does anyone know a way to create an automation that will add/assign an agent to a ticket if they add a resolution and/or close the ticket? I have techs that are fixing an issue, adding the resolution to the ticket, and then closing the ticket without ever assigning themselves (or anyone else) to the ticket. We want the ticket to be automatically assigned to whoever inputs a resolution. Thanks!

I am attempting to avoid having several lengthy branches within a workflow. What I need is to take a firstname.lastname value and if it is over 20 characters long substring it to cut off after 20 characters.  Below is the function I have so far but this only works when the character limit is over 20, I cannot find a solution to keep the characters the same when it is under 20 characters: if (length('{{E17.result}}')>20, substring('{{E17.result}}',0, 20), substring('{{E17.result}}', 0, 20))I have tried many variations like the one below but still have not been able to accomplish this. if (length('{{E17.result}}')>20, substring('{{E17.result}}',0, 20), {{E17.result}}) Typically I will get this error: Invalid Syntax - Third operand's value must be <= first operand's length. The end goal is to get this value for both manager name and new hire name so that I can plug this in further down the workflow and alway

Hi there,We have a challenge with a customer that we are trying to figure out how to route tickets based on certain fields in the contact register. For e.g. every contact has an agent that will be responsible for handling their queries, it’s fixed. So, for every new ticket created this ticket should be assigned to the respective agent responsible for the contact. We want to do that without creating one automation per agent because it will be tricky to manage all the automations for the new agents. Can somebody help us here? Thanks and best regards. Bruno

I would like to recommend that Freshdesk add a Date/Time field to the list of available custom fields to prevent the backend from converting to the wrong date for analytics.  Currently, when using the custom Date field (without time) it is converted by the backend to UTC (date) time and the time defaults to DD Mmm 00:00 AM.  When the date is pulled into analytics, the time is converted to the agent’s timezone. Depending on the agent’s location, the date may be converted to one day prior resulting in inaccurate analytics dates. Example:Transaction date: 15 Feb 2022 Backend sets date to UTC 15 Feb 2022 at 00:00 AMConversion from UTC to to Agent’s EST (-5 hours):
